my digital friends who reside overseas have already been privy to the presumed
wonderment of the latest James Bond flick, Skyfall.
So, while I wait a few more long hours before marveling at the baddassery
of 007, here’s a list I cooked up that breaks the world’s greatest spy down
statistically. These figures are from Dr.

Glad you dig it! Watching all of them can be (at times) a real chore. Some are just bad bad bad. I couldn't believe Brosnan was the deadliest, and Craig was the heaviest drinker. Love it.

This is brilliant! Haven't seen Thunderball yet, but that's insane! I'll get to it this weekend though. Have a handful of Bond DVDs to watch, then I've seen them all. :)

Thanks! Thunderball is legit. Good Connery work there, no doubt. The World is Not Enough....(sigh), I dunno. I like what Brosnan did with the character, but other than GoldenEye, his flicks don't really do it for me. Still, they're no where near as pointless as, say, Moonraker. Classically awful.

DeleteHey, didn't know you were a something of a Bond fan! Saw all of them as a kid, yes all of them, really was my first foray into film criticism, now that I think about it. Seeing what films in the series really worked for me, those that really didn't, granted it usually it had to do with the lead who was Bond. But I really had to think about how well something was paced and directed, in terms of the action, dialog and acting for the first time. So as you can probably guess I have a lot of fondness for the franchise. Cannot wait to see what Skyfall brings to the table!

DeleteSkyfall is a very very worthy addition. It isn't the best, certainly, but it is damn fine.
Weird that Daniel Craig gets paid less than Pierce Brosnan? Probably once Craig makes his fourth, his fee will go up.

As successfull as Skyfall is at the box office (already at 500+ mil) I dont think itll unseat Thunderball as the inflation adjusted king.
